Journey On experience

I really liked the Journey On experience that I had.  I did this exercise at work on my lunch break (and yes I still took my shoes off J), and the rest of my day went much more smoothly and stress free.  I loved it, I think I’m going to use my lunch time to de-stress more often.  Does anyone else de-stress during their lunch break at work?  If not try it, it was awesome! 

I really liked the idea that I was in control of my body’s processes and blood flow just by thinking about the change, it was so cool.  I’m going to try that anytime I get cold, the extra blood flow to my arms and legs will help me warm up.

  1. Hi Rebecca, so glad you felt the same way I did after participating in the Journey on Relaxation. I kind of laughed when I saw that you did on your lunch break, but it was a good decision because I know from after I felt energized and ready to finish what I had to finish. And I see that you felt the same way. I liked the idea of visualizing where the blood flow was going. I hope you continue to try relaxation exercises throughout your work week to de stress, as I am going to do before I go to bed.

  2. Rebecca, I think de-stressing at work is a fantastic idea! If it can make the rest of your day go by so much better then it is totally worth it! Unfortunately I cannot stop laughing while listening to things like this so it is impossible to relax this way! I relax by getting massages though and just by meditating. I look forward to reading your blog!!
